Recovery Movie Meet-Up w/ Ted Perkins

San Diego SMARTies are invited to join Ted Perkins, author of Addicted in Film: Movies We Love About The Habits We Hate, as he conducts a Recovery Movie Meet-Up at our Kearny Mesa Community Center.
We will screen the classic 1945 Academy-Award-winning film, The Lost Weekend, starring Ray Milland and Jane Wyman.
This will be followed by a lively discussion about the film’s characters, themes and useful recovery-related takeaways. The discussion will be guided by the Recovery Movie Meet-Ups Workbook, which will be made available for free to all participants.

The meeting will be videotaped for training purposes. Following the discussion, Ted will invite participants to record 1-on-1 interviews to share their thoughts on the experience.
The group is invited to a complimentary group dinner at a nearby Thai restaurant after the event.
